Church Council met January 12th, 2005

With the following items being discussed:

·          Lenten service times were set for 7:30 Pm

·          It was reported by the Elders that church attendance for 2004 was slightly improved over 2003

·          After expenses, $367 from the Christmas dinner was approved to be added to the fundraiser savings.

·          The furnace project was thoroughly discussed.  Needs, funding and bids will again be discussed at the next meeting.

·          It was approved to send the $250 fair float prize money to the  Orphan Grain Train Tsunami relief project.

·          It was approved to purchase a banner stand from memorial monies

Voters Assembly Highlights

December 12th, 2004

·          The Endowment Fund reported a total balance of $35,254 as of October 31st, 2004.

·          Two constitutional amendments passed by the Synodical     convention were approved.

·          The  Council and Trustees were given the authority to act on furnace replacement in the church and education building with update reports given to the congregation as needed.

·          The 2005 Budget was Approved
